The Campsite & Restaurant

The Children's only restaurant - the pool - the lake - the animal farm

Space, lots of space is what we offer at Camping Les Ormes.

Our campsite has 100 pitches on 25 Acres of beautifully landscaped terrain. You can choose from a variety of spacious pitches situated in the heart of the campsite, the forest  or one of the fields. Enough space is available for playing and enjoying a game of soccer or volleyball.

There are two large toilet buildings with free hot showers, individual wash basins, toilets and disabled facilities, together with washing up, and clothes washing sinks.

A clothes washing machine is situated in one toilet building and a drying line is adjacent.

Walking and exploring the campsite through the open fields, the forest, the lake, the swimming pool and the tennis court will take you over an hour. The variety of the terrain and the several exciting spots makes the campsite a safe children’s paradise.

Float around in an inflatable boat on the lake or catch a big carp at the special fishing area.
The lake is there for you to enjoy. If you are not into sightseeing, build your own castle on the white sandy beach

Adjoining the old barn the terrace is the place to relax and watch the sunset while your children learn all about the animals in our small animal farm.

The large swimming pool is located in a superb location overlooking the beautiful sunflower fields and the lake. The smallest children can play and cool off in the small pool next to the large pool.

'Zanzibar', our pool side bar, and it’s terrace is the ideal place to enjoy a panini, quiche, wrap (a folded pancake with meat or fish) and beer while working on your sunteint..

The Restaurant

In the old farm you’ll find the reception and a small shop with regional nice-to-haves. The reception is the information centre of the campsite. Right here we are at your service and to help you on your way, whether you want to taste wine or go to one of the lovely local markets.

The old barn has been transformed into a restaurant. Here you can enjoy the delicious regional specialties in a typical French ambience. The fire place in the bar is a fine spot to sip a local wine or beer and meet the other campers at night. During peak season there will be “live” music once a week.

Start each day off with a coffee and a newspaper at the large table in the bar. A varying collection of English books are available for your use in the library during your stay.

Outside the high-season here's where you can enjoy our breakfast buffet. In the high season there is daily fresh bread and "croissants" delivered at your tent.
